About Us

Who are we?

We're a group of eccentric runners who met through working at the same Boston based company. Life has since taken us to different companies and cities, but we still get together annually to participate in the Cape Cod Ragnar Relay as an Ultra team of 6 (sometimes 5).

What is a Ragnar?

It’s a 200-ish mile overnight running relay, it takes two days, 1 night, you run through the night with 12 6 of your friends, not everyone runs the same distance, you travel in vans that are decorated... with playful bees! If that doesn't sound fun, I don't know what is!

Are we recruiting?

The roster is different every year. We're a group of [not so] serious runners and we sometimes get some serious injuries (Hi Brett!). So we're always looking for people to fill the team. If you're interested, reach out to info@playfulbees.com
